BECAUSE OF YOU will always be the book of my heart, the book that started it all. I wrote it while I was in Officer Candidate School, my husband was deployed on his second tour in Iraq during the Surge, and I’d just dropped my babies of at my moms.
I poured my heart and soul and a million fears into this book and it’s always been special to me for that reason. I was able to find my voice, and find the stories I was supposed to tell. Also, there’s a seriously smart ass ginger sergeant who ends up with a beard and well, after Game of Thrones ended, we’re in a bit of a sexy ginger with beard drought.
If you haven’t read the Coming Home series, this is a great chance to start reading it as I originally intended. If you’re a regular reader of my newsletter, you know I don’t do many sales – this is the only planned sale for my books for this year.
